Our meetings typically last around two hours, and feature one or two talks plus a discussion period. Afterwards we like to meet for casual chat, food, and (rarely) beer at a nearby restaurant.
Because of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, NIH cancelled evening events,
including our meeting. Starting in 2002, our meeting moved to RFA in Washington DC

Meetings take place the 3rd Wednesday of the month
Meetings start around 7pm and end around 9pm
We meet for dinner at a nearby restaurant from 9pm until people leave :-D
